Sony OLED TV
Serve This To You….

It was recently announced that what is supposedly the world’s thinnest available OLED TV will now be sold in the UK. This product is the diminutive 11 inch XEL – 1 from Sony (http://www.sony.co.uk).
The very small TV is really for those early adaptors with really, really deep, crisis-proof pockets because the XEL – 1 is going to cost £3,489. This basically means you are paying for £317 per inch. The OLED TV was originally launched in Japan back in 2007 and at that time it was sold for just £850. I don’t understand how the markup could be that large.
The Skypephone
Serve This To You….

The Skypephone – which costs only about £90 and is available on several contract tariffs – is aimed at avid Skype users who want to be able to VOIP for free, on the move. A big “Skype” button which, when clicked, will lead you to your list of contacts, is at disposal under the big, 2 inch screen. The handset has a very basic keypad, comes in black, pink or blue and weighs just 86g. Functions include an MP3 player, mobile TV, games, a web browser and most importantly, the 2 megapixel camera which doesn’t let you use it as a webcam for video calling.
The interface is the same as on your PC but the quality of your conversations aren’t as decent. Another downside is that calls and chat messages are limited on Skype-to-Skype despite having to pay £10 per month to even get anything from Skype. Another bad thing is that you cannot use SkypeOut. The phone was launched on the second of December 2007 in the UK, Australia, Denmark, Italy and Hong Kong.
All in all, it is a good phone but a bit too basic so unless you’re a Skype lover or somebody who will use their mobile phone only for making calls, this handset isn’t worth buying.

Press the top button to turn on the laser pointer, press the bottom button to cycle through the flashlight and UV light. The flashlight even comes on a flexible shaft for precision aiming. Flexible shaft.
Sony PSP 3000 : Available In 3 Colors For Europe
Serve This To You….

The Sony announced the launch of 3 new colors for PSP in Europe. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), says the colors are Pearl White and Mystic Silva (available in the UK from February 2009), and Radiant Red (available in the UK in March 2009). But it is a great desire to rush the stores, to create one?
Besides the color “renewal” its seem to have a series of improvements to the Sony PSP-3000. The Sony upgrade the system has improved LCD screen and a built-in microphone. Improving the visual experience was a specific objective, I love my PSP as they are, but I worry a little, to get a PSP 3000. But it is better to show the color drain the precious life of batteries? Well, that engineers, Sony PSP 2000 and PSP-3000 has the same battery used. Would want to improve, but the best video at the same time battery-life, a well of me.
“You can communicate with friends around the world for free ¹. Built-in microphone allows advertisements to a telephone conversation with the PSP experience. On Skype, you can connect with friends and family move any Wi-Fi.” – One of my favorite features of the Sony PSP-3000.

Serve This To You….

Nokia has announced a new handset on the AT&T network in the US aimed at social networking fans.
Called the Nokia Surge, the exclusive handset will offer a landscape slider design with a full QWERTY keyboard that appears from underneath the screen. Available online and in AT&T stores on 19 July, the Nokia Surge, according to the operator is “an ideal device for active consumers who like to stay connected whether using IM, text or email, sending multimedia messages”.
Get past the marketing blurb and you get a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 3G connectivity, a rather disappointing 2-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, microSD card slot, 128MB of internal memory and the promise of 4.7 hours of talk time.
Running the Nokia S60 interface found on its higher end devices, the Surge promises Flash video support for watching videos online and Facebook on-the-go with the pre-installed JuiceCaster application.
The specs however don’t suggest Wi-Fi or any other colour other than black. Priced at $79.99, no word from Nokia whether it will be coming to other operators in the US or to the UK.
Sony Walkman NWZ-E436FB 4GB MP4 Video Player with FM Tuner
Serve This To You….

My Sansa e250 corrupting files, and keep the technology has become an abide and I thought I would like to get a new player, which was about the same price. I went to buy the Samsung YP-T10JCB/XEU – Touchscreen MP3 player with Video and Bluetooth – 8gb but I do not usually have enough songs, not to mention fill up 4GB and 8GB sony play BBC iPlayer programs, that he had a great ability to see the train back to Have I Got News For You, etc. without the need to get off the computer. The good points of this mp3 player is a sound (as good as any other mp3, and in particular mySennheiser CX300 Eco Ear Canal Headphones Black). It is very easy to use and straight forward, so there is no need to draw up a manual, the quality of the screen is a very good player and is so light and thin (approximately 50 g) to be very useful for places. The case is decorated with a nice shiny black plastic back to front but the last (good thing, because it does not get scratched or shiny metal oxidation), but it is not just stunning that it looks department. He has 45 hours playback, and after playing it for 45 minutes Merlin the battery meter was barely dented, and the FM radio is better than my old Sansa. I would recommend this player, the price, ease of use (such as the menus are clear and you can use drag & drop on WMP 11 to transfer the songs) and features, but the style of a circle then go to compete with the iPod nano.
